• GURUDWARA SHRI PATSHAHI CHEVIN SAHIB is situated in village Kangar Distt Bathinda. This village is adjoining to the village Dina, Distt Moga, (GURUDWARA SHRI LOHGARH SAHIB) . This Gurudwara is situated at a distance of 32 Km from Bathinda City in Village Kangar, District Bathinda, Punjab.
• At this place the Fort of Chaudhry Rai Jodh, the great grandson of Baba Mahir Mittha Ji , existed. Rai Jodh was a devotee of Sixth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji. When Guru Ji was staying at Village Bhai Rupa, Rai Jodh requested Guru Ji to visit his Fort. Guru Ji accepting his request visited this Fort in 1634. Bhai Biddhi Chand Ji brought the second horse of Guru Ji from Lahore to this place. When Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji fought the battle of Mehraj against the Mughal forces in 1634, Rai Jodh Ji alongwith his 500 soldiers joined Guru Ji. Rai Jodh Ji killed Mughal commander Qamar Beg and Guru Ji killed Mughal commander Lalla Beg. Guru Ji was very pleased and he presented his Katar (a Dagger) to Rai Jodh Ji. That Katar has been preserved by the descendants of Rai Jodh Ji at their house which lies at the back side of the Gurudwara.
• This place was fort of Rai Jodh grandsaon of Baba Mithasar. When SHRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI came to Bhai Rupa (Distt Bhathinda) Rai Jodh ji requested GURU SAHIB to visit his home. Bhai Bidhi Chand ji brought second Horse from Lahore to this place. Under guidance of GURU SAHIB Rai Jodh ji fought the battle of Mehraj and with Lala Beg and Kamar Beg. Rai Jodh ji killed Kamar Beg and GURU SAHIB killed Lala Beg. GURU SAHIB gave Rai Jodh ji a Katar (a sort of Dager), Which is still preserved with Rai Jodh Ji's family. Rai Jodh ji's family house where Katar is preserved is situated on the back side of GURUDWARA SAHIB.
